A new day, a new start and a whole new outlook on life…  I’m driving out vs taking the ferry. Exact details on when I leave are unknown right now, but I am going to do this. I CAN DO THIS! So I shall.  So I need to go cancel ferry reservations and tuck that precious money back away. Hoping for a call back on storage options and drum roll…

Another Lazy Daze couple, who I briefly met in Palmer when they filled up on Propane, is here and they contacted me last night. We will get together today. I can’t wait. They are full-timers and they told me to make a list of questions. Ooh its hard to contain my excitement to share some time with them. They have mastered boondocking, and this is something I really need to get a better handle on. I understand the basic concept, but heck if I can pull it off yet.  So that will be my first set of questions.

And my car is on its way to Haines. Email last night stated it was just before the Canadian border, so it should be pulling in sometime this afternoon. Yippee!
