I’m on vacation in Haines, Alaska.  Staying with good friends John & Cheri. I normally come down here each summer or early Fall, but decided to see it in the dead of winter. They have already had 290″ of snow since November 1st… Wow! Most of that snow has melted, thankfully, but the mountains are gorgeous.  Cheri and & I have dyed quite a bit of yarn over the last few days. Today, we went down to the Bald Eagle Foundation… got to see them training a young bald eagle and a raven.  Will come back in summer, to see all the raptors they keep here.  Back to figuring out how to design my new blog…
